2,200m2 of access was required for installation of new road deck, steelwork repairs and coating application to road bridge. This project lasted for 4 years so the system experienced 4 full winters of Scottish West coast storms. V-Deck™ provided a very time and cost effective solution compared to suspended scaffolding. The V-Deck™ solution was designed to take wind speeds up to 44m/s and a 3kN UDL. The significant reduction in road closures was a big benefit as a road closure forces road users on an 85m round trip. The installation team was achieving 85m2 per day with a 5 man team.'
